Study deeply. Understand fully.
Beneath every scripture lies more — a language, a context, threads connecting the whole of Scripture. Katenae is a place to study: unhurried, deliberate, and aimed at a fuller understanding of God’s Word.
ka·te·nae
A catena is a chain of linked commentary — verses joined to the voices that read them before. Here your study becomes a chain of its own: word to meaning, verse to verse, thread to thread.
The idea
A verse serves as the anchor of an endless canvas on which the Katena is grounded and grows. As you highlight words, learn their original Greek and Hebrew, and trace cross-references, a map of connections begins to form — a record of your journey through the Word that you can reference, extend, and share. The result is a collection of notes and scripture that captures how you study and piece together what the Word is saying to you.
